Go to a desert somewhere south of the equator for maximum heat during daytime - the temperature may drop sharply overnight though, but in any case stay north of 20 degrees south. Again, theoretically in December such conditions could really only be found south of the equator and, frankly, I can't think of anywhere that would be truly hot at that time of year because pretty much everywhere south of the equator is in a state of flux and well short of their maxima. To feel hot you can also look for somewhere with temperatures above 25 degrees and humidity above 85%, the effect is much the same as in a sauna with lots of water chucked about - you will sweat a lot. Places like Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, etc. will perhaps come closest, but at that time of year they are not at their hottest and most uncomfortable. I guess there is no prospect of you heating your own house then ?
We have just come back from Goa and it is an amazing pace to visit. Third world, but you need to embrace the culture and you will return again and again! We go with Jewel in the Crown Holidays, a small company based in Crawley. North Goa is very busy , lots of fun - South Goa is more sedate, but still incredibly interesting. You can upgrade in the cabin if you want to (Monarch Airlines) and for us it is worth the extra, because it is so much cheaper than going to the Caribbean and there is plenty to see whilst you are there. Food is amazing, and you can even have your eyes tested and prescription glasses made up for a fraction of UK prices. UK residents need a visa, which you can obtain by post from an agency working on behalf of the High Commission, or go in person if you want. Been to the Caribbean also, but for us, because of the interest and the cheap prices, Goa wins every time. Hope this helps
