does anybody know if its going to come out on dvd. ive looked at bbc website, amazon , virtually everywhere...cannot find anything.

Probably not. These time of" late daytime" scheduled programmes are made in bulk and are not the sort of thing they would release on DVD. The series was made by Talkback Thames, who will probably retain the copyright on the show, so you could try asking them direct, but you'll probably get the stock "There are no plans to release this series on DVD at present". However I wouldn't be surprised if the series is recommissionned for another run.
