MEDICAL COVER FOR CRUISE
I have a cruise booked with P&O to the carribean next March 2011.
Today I have read in the newspaper that P&O say "1t is now our policy to make passemgers pay for medical treatment"
Does anyone know of an insurance I can take to cover this...apart from the usual travel policy?

Make sure there are no loopholes and always consider the worst case scenario of having to be transferred ashore in an Emergency.
Unless you are insured for events such as this you could end up with astronomical Medical costs.

Check out the travel insurance deals on moneysupermarket.co.uk – some extremely low premiums are available, because they do not cover you for the eventualities most likely to occur (delays/cancellations/loss of possessions etc). Most of the cheap policies will give reasonable medical cover – but only expensive policies will cover you for pre-existing medical conditions.
Check the policy terms and conditions before parting with any money.

Just to confirm what you are asking about P&O cruises, this is from their website:~

"All costs for medicines & treatment in the ships Medical Centre though you will find that these costs will generally be reimbursable under your holiday insurance subject to validity of cover and any excess."
