First Passport

Writing on behalf of someone wanting a first passport and knowing there's a lot of other stuff, I understand that two references are required. Do these have to be top professional people or could it or they be someone like an assistant librarian?...not that there's anything wrong with being an assistant librarian! Ta Muchly.

The Answerbank used to have problems with long links (which often couldn't be clicked on), so they've changed the way that they are displayed on screen. For most users that's a vast improvement but it obviously causes extra problems for you.

I used to shorten long links, using TinyUrl.com. I'll try to remember to still do so for any thread that you're involved in. If you need me to do so anywhere else, just let me know.
