Corfu

We are off to Corfu in six weeks time staying in the north west corner "Agios Steffanos" can anyone suggest any must see sights as this is our first trip to the island.

One place that springs to mind is Palaiokastritsa on west coast is lovely small resort. if you can travel the winding road up the mountain from there to Lakones there are breathtaking views down on the resort.

We went on a coach trip which took in that area and other landmarks

Thats just below where we will be staying so I will definately take a look. Just had a look on google maps it looks nice.

If you get fed up with the shingle beached head to the west coast and a little place called glafayda beach where you will get sand, was a quiet place when i was there, but may be more developed now.
