International vehicle registration letters for Zambia
What letter(s) does Zambia use at the moment ?
RNR (referring to the colonial Northern Rhodesia era) is what is shown on Wikipedia, but I find that odd as Zimbabwe, formerly Southern Rhodesia, uses ZW

Officially (well, as of 15th February 2007) the United Nations Distinguishing Signs of Road Vehicles in International Traffic (i.e. the source of the identifier codes) still lists RNR for Zambia...

Zambia is free to change its identifier to Z but unless the Secretary General of the UN receives official notification, such a change does not adhere to the terms of the 1949 and 1968 Conventions on Road Traffic.
