Hey all,

We were meant to be taking my OHs kids down to my dads holiday van this weekend, but just had a call from dad and he is stuck in Scotland!

So kind of looking for some ideas on a day out! We went to Legoland 2 weeks ago, and dont mind travelling around and hour and half to get somewhere.

The kids are 10 and 13, boy and girl!

Any suggestions or ideas of places that you guys have been to that have been good and enjoyable!?

TIA! :-)

I lived in Harpenden :-) My mum & stepdad still do and I go there n a Tuesday! I'm originally a St Albans girl!

We did Woburn a few weeks ago!

My OH says he still fancies going away for the weekend, but it is very short notice and don't know if we will find anywhere??
Snap McFluff. I used to live in Letchworth.
Lots of the museums in London are free and the should be something for everyone.
Went to the war museum last weekend Wiggal and there were loads of kids there. It really is a fantastic place. I didn't think I would enjoy it, but it was great.

The kids have done most of the museums in London, although we did say a while ago we wanted to take them in to see Harrods and Hamleys, that may be an option.

His boy is 10.

Just suggested picking a seaside place and I can phone round hotels to see if there are any vacancies.
Have a look at the Haven, Pontins, Butlins sites. You can check availability online and book online too.
Just break the window to the van... or go in via the roof hatch ;o)

Miss you :p
