France day trip driving

Can anyone tell me what I need apart from a triangle and flourescent jacket but not sure what else. Its only a day trip, but need to be legal. Many thanks

insurance, first aid kit

First aid kit, travel insurance, driving licence. All to be carried in the car at all times. Plus maybe other things, I am sure AA website or similar will advise.

Make sure you tell your car insurance company you are going abroad or it may not be covered.

puzzled, you don't really need a GB sticker but a good thing to stick one on so the gendarmes don't have to be shown up with their poor English, they just let you drive by...
