Stayed at the travelodge many times but never had there breakfast, at £7-50 I thought it was too much to pay, however I have noticed that one person will pay the £7-50 for themself then load the plate with food and a short time later their partner join's them and they both tuck in, so in fact they have a good breakfast each for the price of one, is this a good idea or what ?

An all you can eat breakfast for £7.50 seems cheap to me!!!
We stay at hotels and at breakfast often see people filling rolls with ham, cheese etc wrapping them in paper napkins with the clear intention of having them for lunchtime picnic. They usally load up on fruit as well. Thieving bar stewards.
Guilty as charged McMouse lol
When we took the kids to legoland in Denmark we did make a wee picnic up not because it was overly expensive (as in I subsequently went back to Copenhagen and didnt find it very expensive) its cos the only bleeding place we could find with 2 toddlers on board was a Maccy D's and a bag of chips was about a £1 and mine are now 25 and 21 now !!

O and another thing lol -I cannot for the life of me eat first thing in the morning -I just vomit so I have taken a roll or two for when i I am compus metis :)
I stay at a lot of Travelodges around the country and in my opinion you cant beat them for cleanness and value.

As regards the couple eating from one plate that takes the biscuit (and bacon, eggs sauage). I think that if you take the kids with you to a travelodge and pay the £7.50 for an 'eat all you can breakie', then your kids eat free!
