- great food at reasonable prices
- lovely old town centre
- great squares to people watch
- classy shopping(if that's your thing)
- 20 minutes to the lovely beach
- great weather
- felt very safe
- Efficient public transport (although there's no choice but to tale a taxi from the airport to city centre)
The only possible down side is that English is not widely spoken so you either need speak a bit of spanish or be happy with 'sign language' & winging it. We stayed at the excellent 'Ad Hoc Monumental' Hotel
