UK Travel insurance

Does anyone know of a travel insurance company who would offer cover for a long weekend in UK over New Year. In particular the cover would need to stretch to cancellations due to weather conditions, as I am concerned I might lose over £300 if snow stops me from getting to a cottage some friends and I have booked over New Year

Any suggestions please, I've phoned a few companies this morning & they all say no to covering for weather!!

Have you tried the Post Office? You can ring them on 0800 169 999. Though having a look through the policy it does mention not paying out for 'disinclination to travel', though whether that would cover if there's a lot of snow or not I don't know.
