VISA for cuba

hi - myself and the hub are off to cuba in Jan. i believe we need a visa. Can we get these at the airport do you know or must we get them from cuban consulate before we leave uk?

as far as i know you have to apply before you leave (one website i saw said it could take 4 weeks)

Yet I got mine on the plane between Ottawa and Cuba?
I would go with the advice you have been given tho as it 2004 we were there.

btw -the BEST holiday we have ever had and we have travelled quite a lot -we were in Varadero but my advice -take the private Merc taxi trip to Havana -awesome !!
