The weather in Alicante is much the same as that in Almeria:

Went to Almeria about 20 years ago at the end of January, it was t-shirt weather and blue skies.
All the expats will be complaining of the cold and telling you to shut the door, while you're feeling pleasantly warm.

Go in just over 2 weeks, have tagged along with a group of mates who are golfing and hiking so it isnt a beach holiday as such. I had leave that needed to be used up so thought "what the heck". As long as it is pleasant and the rain keeps off that will do me!
You'll need a light jumper in the evenings.

Should be warm and comfortable. You may need perhaps a jumper in the evenings for comfort.
