Thomsons aeroplanes TV/earphones

Going on a package hol with Thomson in a few weeks, does anyone know if they have the TV screens for entertainment and if so how many pins the earphone sockets have?

To the best of my knowledge, Thomson flights don't offer in-flight entertainment. That seems to be backed up by the (absence of) information, here:

Yes, they have seatback screens but I don`t know about the socket. It`s probably single pin.

Yes they do have entertainment, depending how far you go, on a short haul they usually show a fairly recent film, again depending on the flight the screens on short hauls boeing 757 as an example have drop down screens at various points of the aircraft. the earphone sockets are 2 pins, if yours do not fit they sell them on board, but are expensive at around £3-£5.

short flights they normally show an episode of a BBC comedy show, simpsons, a documentary, (more recently some James May thing). You can use your earphones from ipod they fit in seat arm. For longer flights there are movies but no choice as the screens are fitted at regular intervals from the ceiling

As with the previous info :- the "headsets" are normally charged at £2.50 ....BUT normal headphones will fit into one of the double socket..... This will only give you non stereo.The quality of the ones supplied are possible the worst quality , so therefore take your own.
