it seems to have gone off the rails, grey, cold and tipping down, and looking at the news of the various floods we are not alone.
What's it like where you are.

Raining, on and off.
Pretty crap in South London. Was peeing down last night.
Rained all night and this morning, but seems to be fairing up a bit now.
rained overnight, but brightening. Yesterday was lovely but very windy.
Poured down last night, cloudy and windy at the moment, off to see if my Mother's overflowing drains are any better shortly, I doubt it, good old Wessex Water!
Better yesterday i.e. drier than it was supposed to be. Today is grey, windy and probably going to shower. Forgot to say in Birmingham.

Is it me but whatever the weather it seems to me that it always seems windier in recent years than previous spring/summers.
Grey, miserable and wet here in the South West. I thought last summer was pretty bad-this is shaping up to be far worse.
We are in the wrong country---maybe some of this will head our way.....

perhaps we could do the opposite of a rain dance, a sun dance, jumping around so the sun will hear our pleadings and come out for a while, am totally fed up with this.
Fed up too EM. It`s the cold that`s so strange, but the sun has just appeared in Northants. Blowing a gale though.
Send it my way Gness...
Here's a bit of cheerful sunshine for you all - if only on my Avatar!!!

gness, can you blow it this way, perhaps the only way to beat it, is to join it. Should i venture forth with gumboots, barbour and stout unbending brolly, who said something about beginning of summer.
Question Author
ann very nice, but it's blowing a hoolie down here.
Left temps of 30 deg in Portugal on Thursday to fly back home to this rubbish Summer - you can imagine how depressed we are feeling :(
Actually - sssh, the sun is just peeping through here in East Midlands after lashing it down with howling gale when we woke up - so maybe things are improving :)
Question Author
i really don't think this is going to get much better. I have some gifts to get, and still don't know what, time is marching on. Perhaps some vouchers, easy and not too painful financially.
Manky,Grey and wet, West Mids. Saw on MSN this morning it could be the wettest June for 100 years !.
Question Author
just as i said oh s**t, the sun has made a much needed appearance, well not so much sun as a shade less than grey more silver, if i wish loud enough will it turn into something approaching at least bright, this grey has been doing my head in.
A musical tribute to our wonderful English summer:
