More Snow Friday?

Just watching the weather forecast I see there is a huge band of snow crossing the country tomorrow getting over to us in East midlands in the evening. I wonder how much we are going to get as I am organising an event tomorrow at 7.30 and I'm in a dilemma whether to cancel as people won't turn up. I know the snow will be shortlived as milder temps are forecast at the weekend, its just the difficulty of getting to the event and the worry of people getting back home safely.

There are reports that gness has been buried by snow in Northamptonshire and they are out to get her out of her icy place:

minus 2 in the capital, so not really that much change, though the snow has gone...

I believe the snow is due to arrive in the PM here in the West Mids and rain on Saturday.
