Hot Weather Payment
11 Answers
don't know about you, but we have fans going all day, plus having to turn the fridge up, and spending more money on ice creams, using the hose to keep the plants alive etc. all very costly. shouldn't we be entitled to a hot weather payment? I am sure Mr. Brown of the labour party would have agreed. what about it Dave? or are you cold in your air condition mansion?
two sides to all stories, some want everthing for free, and some get it for free. Don't really know who's side i am on.

Difficult to know what goes on. My local council have just started an "allotment scheme" I can only assume this is for the elderly who looked after their gardens, but had to move to a flat because of the bedroom tax, it will save them getting cabin fever. Mo jo,
its a sin when the government have top peoples wages up to a living wage ( almost) exploitation of the workers. I wish i knew the answer, we are all born the same, some into rich families, some into poor, but, I disagree with anyone saying you got where you were because of your family etc. I was 62 and applied for a postman/ladies job, and was offered it. I didn't turn up for the interview with rings through my nose and purple pointed hair, unlike some of the other applicants. But, no doubt, some of them would have done the job better than me.
