Your guess is as good as mine I'm afraid. Possibly as large as Eyjafjallajokull a few years ago.
The products of a volcano are varied. Lava flows occur when a chamber of magma (molten rock) allows a burst though to the surface when the pressure reaches a critical point. This happens regularly in certain areas like Iceland.
The problem which affects us is mainly when ash and other (pyroclastic) materials are ejected in an eruption, causing air routes to be diverted.
Only a vulcanologist on the spot, making many observations, can offer a forecast.
Watching this story, I hope not flying to Cyprus Wednesday.
