No, actually quite boring. Went to bed at midnight, got up for a Jimmy at 4 and decided to crack open another one.

Morning, guys. Its not often I'm up at this time. I went to a party last night, which I was dreading because I am so not a party person, but it turned out to be quite fun. I'm awake at this ungodly hour of the morning though. :)

No,1ozzy. I am not a party animal at all. oH is not speaking to me because I get upset every year about this party we have to go to. And then I make it worse by saying "oh, that wasn't too bad after all." when we get home. He's not up yet. I await the usual tirade. :/ or ignorement (if that's a word, probably isn't)

Morning all! A hard frost out there this morning. Nice to see you Jo. Ignorement. I like it! :o} Another word along the lines of amazable, isn't it! :o}

I hade friends ghere yestarday, they were waiting when I got back from the canal. We had a grand evening. I knocked up a quick stirfey to feed them. Knocked up some custard, whipped the whites into meringus, put some fruit in and covered them with ther custard. At least the didn't go back to Oxford hungry.

It didn't take too long is the point oz. ;o} It was good to see them. I wasn't expecting them. They are memders of the CVanals Trust, but didn't look at the rrota. That'll larn em! :o}

Surprising what can be created at short notice, it ain't too hard.

Presume you had a great day yesters, finished off by a good meal with friends.

It was quiet on the canal. I closed at 3PM. No-one about. Just as well, otherwise my friends might not have waited much longer.

It's usually possible to knock something up at short notice. I marinaded the fruit in a bit of gin while I did the stirfry.

It's a stir fry here tonight.

Asian vegies, pineapple and left over pork, diced. Quick stir in the wok at silly heat to caramelise, then a slow bubble with sweet and sour. Served with either Jasmine rice or Singapore noodles.
I'll let the others decide.

Sounds good oz. I recon the jasmine rice would be best with that, It goes so well with that kind of sweet mixture.
