Weekend Weather

Warning for some of us. Scotland, North and mid Wales and the NW of England look to be in for a bit of a wild weekend with snow aplenty. I use the site linked and find it is pretty accurate. We went to York last week and when I told other people on the coach that we were in for snow they laughed. As we got off the coach there was heavy snow for an hour and it was still snowing when we left at 5pm. Looks like a plan to stay in this weekend. Starts Fri mid afternoon and looks pretty dodgy to be on the roads on Sunday unless you have to be.

Don't think so Minty. Let it run through Sunday and early next week. As far as I can see only Cornwall and the South West look clear. The West of Britain and NI are in for fun.
