The Beast From The East To Return ?

Lots of reports from various sources that this winter will be very cold ( coldest for 30 years )
as the beast from the east returns
What do you reckon ?

They seem to change their mind about weather 2 days hence, what chance they know what it'll be like 3 to 4 months from now ?

Matters little, cold weather was the winter norm in mu youth. It's the mild ones that are unusual except recently.

Mail online report severe weather conditions every winter, even last winter which didn't happen ! So, I'll just wait and see.

According to some of the papers we were supposed to get 'the beast from the east 2' ( son of beast from the east) in the spring. It's obviously travelling a lot slower than they thought. Even my phone, with local weather reports, gets it wrong. I'm not holding my breath.

Being so reliant on my own transport and having been caught out twice in the last ten years with serious unexpected snow I have decided 4x4 will be the way to go when I replace my cars in the future.
They don't need to look like Chelsea tractors. :-)
