Two centre holiday in Morocco?

I hope someone can give me some advice about visiting Morocco. Now the budget airlines have started to fty there, the Mrs and I fancy a trip this October. Marrakech sounds great, but we'd also love to go to Casablanca. Is it feasible to spend say three days in one city and three days in the other, and if so how can one easily transfer between the two? Any advice and recommendations about Morocco would be much appreciated!
