No Heartbeat
3 Answers
Went to see the midwife this morning as i hadn't felt the baby move for a few days. She couldn't pick anything up so she sent me to the hospital. After loads of different machines no one there could find the heartbeat either. Got sent for a scan and the baby was there but no movement. I was asked to wait outside and have some more water. Went back in, had another scan and low and behold baby is moving and you could see the heart beating away. They tried to listen in but still couldn't hear it. They told it might just be the way that its lying. So everything ok now but has anyone else had this?

How easy it is to pick up the heartbeat depends on how far gone you are as well as babys position. My sister had to be monitored with her second baby as the baby rarely moved! My neice was born full term and perfectly healthy though, she was just lazy.
Im glad everything is fine though and hope youre not worry too much!
