I'm in the pink wbm thank you darling. (It's pink day - for breast cancer charity), so I'm in black dress, black boots, bright pink ballet wrap cardigan (you won't know what one of those is probably, being a man...!) and of course a poppy. I don't normally start wearing one until the 1st of Nov but everyone is so keen this year - which is a good thing.
Plus - Friday is half-day Friday so my weekend starts very soon.

Good for you Tilly. I'm glad to see you so chirpy. I wear a poppy as soon as they are on sale. well, being an ex soldier I would, wouldn't I!
Well done too on the breast cancer campagne. One day, cancer will, like smallpox, be a thing of the past. the sooner the better.

Friday, hurrah! I'm so flippin tired though! I have along dull meeting this morning followed by a lunchtime do in the office. one of my favourite work friends is taking early retirement, and I will miss him heaps.

what a co-incidence sara - one of my favourite work colleagues, Lesley, is leaving today for retirement. Presentation by docs etc at lunchtime, then her leaving do tonight - guess who's making the speech? - Gobby Bananas.
She's a great lady - she duets with me, which sends Keith nuts. I shall miss her tremendously too. Must be a day for it ?!
