Felt the earthquake last night here in West Yorkshire!

Seemingly it was felt all over Yorkshire and Cumbria. I heard about it on the news this morning. Was any damage done?

Good morning janbee I'm in Skipton and was sat with my grandson when it felt like a juggernaught had gone by. His empty drinks can rattled and the plants in the living room shook it was very disturbing Haven't heard of any damage but we have had two in this area in the last 3/4 weeks

Market still on janbee Monday Wednesday Friday & Saturday and still a lovely place. It won a highstreet award last year but now that Costa a packet coffee shop has arrived it may lose some of it's indivduality ass 2 little coffee shops have closed

I watched the Stargazing prog last night (part 2 @ 8pm BBC2 tonight) - part of it was live from Hawaii and you were shown the ooozing red hot magma from the volcano - as you say, CaS, a vivid reminder that everything is shifting all the time.
