affordable diamond rings

Looking for a white gold diamond solitaire ring for up to �300. I know i wont get much for my money but can anyone recommend a good jewellers, either online or high street. basically i want to get as much as i can (carat size) for my money

If you're looking for the biggest carat size you can for your money, then your best bets are H.Samuel, Warren James, Argos or somewhere similar. The quality (colour and clarity) will be poorer, but with diamonds you get what you pay for.

check out fine art auctions. you'll get far far more for your money . you'll often pay a quarter of the price you'll pay for a new ring so by paying �300 you might get a ring worth �1200 or much more. although you may need a few months to browse catalogues and bid at auctions until you get what you need. please also bear in mind that the auction house will charge you commission on top of the price you pay.

Try going finding one on Ebay. You can find a lot of great deals for used diamond rings that are in great shape. Just an idea. Have you ever thought about designing your own? I love custom jewellery and it doesn't have to be very expensive either.
