New Windows
2 Answers
I have had new double glazed windows put in (free, as it was a ex council house) anyway I stay on the first floor (shops below me) my mate who is a window cleaner always cleaned them, he has emigrated now so I went to do them myself but they do not open inwards and there is no way to wash them from the inside, should they have used this type of window on a first floor flat? Do I have to go to the expense of hiring a window cleaner now.

But as you didn't pay for the windows, the council made the choice for you .. you cant really complain ?

But I'm a little contused. If you own an EX council house, who was charitable enough to pay for your "free" new windows ?
