Free Bt Infinity For A Year
5 Answers
Got offered this today, sounds too good to be true,Free Infinity, no activation fee, double my GB usage, seems I only pay £6.95 delivery for the hub, and if I don't like it after a year can just go back to my old package!! Whats not to like?
I would like to know if anyone (probs I'm the last to know:0) has taken it up and how to get it. When I log on to BT I just get all the different charges for the different packages but can't find how to access the offer. I know I can phone it but I don't use the phone if I can help it being quite deaf. Hope someone can help (if only to explain what the catch is......lol)

Generally if something seems to good to be true, it is.
eg are you tied in for X months, so that it's 'free' initially then expensive afterwards, and a big cancellation fee if you.....cancel.
I simply mistrust BT more than most telcom providers.

I am with BT and see the offers when I log in but it's not available in my area until next year at the earliest. I'd check online to see that it's available for your post code before doing anything else. My nephew has just signed with BT from Sky, as he wanted the football, and seems happy with it now but did have to keep a check on things as he didn't get the package that he'd been promised at first. I know you say that you don't like to use the phone but I think you'll find that you may need to contact them at some point.
Thank you both for replying. I have read the small print Mosaic more than once but it seems o.k. to me. Basically it says 'Say yes to BT Infinity for a year at no extra cost, we are not offering this deal to everyone, and you can switch back to a standard broadband package afterwards if you wish' It also says -'join the millions who have already said yes' which is why I thought I was about the last one to hear about it.It does say however 'Prices may change at any time during the contract period' (which rather smells a bit?) but I presume that means if the standard broaband goes up -or am I being naive?
Knittynora(great name) when I went online I did get as far as my area being checked for Infinity and they said it was fine. I am just trying to find out if anyone on AB has signed up for the offer and how they did it. I do agree with you that I will have to get in touch by phone so will get my daughter to do it if I decide to take the plunge. Thank you both again :o)

I am with BT and I signed with them 2 years ago for broadband, phone with free weekend & evening calls & BT Sport and was paying approx £38 per month. In February this year they called to ask if I wanted a cheaper bill and for the same package and my bill went down to about £32 per month. Then just before the footie season started they rang again and asked if I wanted to continue with BT sport and it would now be £29 per month. I have had no problems although you do get the Indian call centre if you phone them.
