Bio Flo Magnetic collars work, as do cod liver tablets, but be careful not to overdose her, one tablet a day mixed in with her food will do her good as will a garlic tablet. I had a spronger spaniel who developed arthritis after an op, we gave him cod liver oil tablets, garlic tablets and got him a Bio flow collar and he didn't have any problems then.

Our springer is also on the rimadyl, and I also dose him with glucosamine, I usually buy a human version which has codliver oil as well. During the very wet spell we had early april he was so bad I bought a harness which supports his front end (he's got it worse in his front legs) I found that by taking a little of his weight we were still able to go for a little walk. Nemo is our second elderly dog with arthritis, I think the most important tip I can give you is keep her lean, as excess weight makes it worse and exercise little and often.

I have my dog on New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel Extract. Can be bought from health food shops in capsule form. It seems to work for my boy and I have friends who swear by it.
