I have just gone through nearly 6 months of kitchen hell with MFI. Mainly down to poor deliveries, wrong parts arriving, not arriving, broken items, poor ordering etc etc. I have complained to the store manager, and as 'full and final settlement' of the issue he is offering me 100 quid to shut me up. What do people think? Should I accept it and move on, or is it worth while pushing for more to see what he says, bearing in mind, he might tell me to get lost?

hi hugo, by pass that wassock, write to the ceo of mfi and tell him what you have had to put up with,i wouldn't let it stay at branch level,if you don't go to the top,the fat directors think everything on the shop floor is hunky dory, well it ain't so let the big man know, good luck let us know the outcome. I went through exactly the same with the MFI cowboys....took 19 weeks to do a 2 week job !!!

In the end, i settled for 400 compo but could've taken it further if i had time. This was on a kitchen and fitting costing 5k
