Food On Aircraft
Friend going to Cuba ask me if she could take pork scratchings with her (why would you?), I said no idea, but I know some nice folks who probably would know.
Any ideas/advice please anyone?

Pork scratchings are great, but I can hardly have them more than once a year or I feel guilty about the calorie/fat content. The only ones that aren't so good is these weird puffed up soft types you can get. Countries tend to worry about bringing diseases and non-native plant life in so I would doubt there'd be much of an issue re pigskin fried to a crisp.
Failing that tell her to buy some pigskin while she is there, cut it up, and bung it in the oven until done.
