No idea about Aer Linctus, but American Airlines certainly need to improve their in-flight entertainment. Flew with them to New York (and back) the week before last and they still have those old-fashioned big screens suspended from the "ceiling" of the cabin, which you can't see at all without binoculars and the sound quality, even through your own earplugs is very poor. They showed "Pitch Perfect 2" on the way there and "Inside out" on the way back. So watched neither and caught up on some Iplayer TV stuff instead. The catering was okay to mediocre, mediocre to dreadful on the return journey. OH picked the chicken dish (turned out to be a sort of curried chicken thing with spicy rice) and there were three bits of chicken in the foil dish! Ghastly. Won't be travelling with AA again!
