Whenever I spot a weed and uproot it, I usually end up saying "Gotcha, you swine" or something similar.
I have had some strange looks from the postman and the neighbours.

I do the same Mrs. O! In a garden near me someone has placed a notice saying 'Pick your own weeds! FREE!!!!' You could try that.
