Sky Subscriptions???
Hiya,
Can anyone suggest ways I can resolve my difficulty with Sky regarding my subscription?
I recently joined Sky TV and was offered a a 12 month package for 14.00 per month. After installation I then ordered a Sky plus for another room. I paid the 89.00 for this new box and was told I would have to pay 10.00 per month for this viewing.( I left NTL to join Sky due to this offer).
Now, correct me if my maths have been destroyed by age, but that adds up to a total of 24.00 per month.
However, the staff at Sky are now demanding I pay anything from 34.00 - 48.00 per month for the same thing.
I have spent several hours on the phone (at my expense) trying, in vain, to sort this out. I did get one young lady informing me that I would be paying 21.93 per month after the initial billing.
Every member of Sky staff I talk to or write to gives me different answers. I can only assume none of them know what they are doing or do not have the authority to do what they do!!!!
If anyone has any helpful suggestions on this matter I would be grateful to hear form you.

Problems like this are often corrected by getting past the cue card reading pond life at the call center and speaking too somebody further up the food chain! My apologies to pond life
I Agree with 'Simeon', When you call them up, ask to speak to the most senoir person there as you do not want to waste anyones time nor your own money. Get everones name and job title that yo speak to, and quote them on what theyve said. its best to avoid phoning outside office hours as there is less supervisors/managers, and avoid lunchtimes too.
If this fails call your bank and cancel your direct debit as they are in breach of contract. they cant cut off your sky as you already have the box and cards, just disconnect the phone line from the back.
