Family things to do in and around Dublin.
I am attending a wedding in Ireland in October and was wondering if there are any more things I can do to keep a young family (7yr old & 2 yr old) interested for the week prior to the wedding?
We are staying in Blessington (Co. Wicklow) and don't want to spend too much time travelling in the car.
So far, I have Dublin Zoo, the Butterfly Farm and a visit to Lily O'Brien's chocolate factory on my list. Anything else we can do in a week?

Wrap up well for the open top deck in October! http://www.dublinbus.ie/your_journey/sightseeing_tours.asp
You can get a 24 hour ticket & get off & on as many times as you like. It has the zoo as one of it's stops.
Also if your 7 year old is into sports (or you are!) you can go to Croke Park where the Gaelic Games are & have a tour of the stadium. There is a museum which has interactive games such as shooting at goal. Check before you go in case they are not doing the tour. It's a little bit out of the town but well worth a visit. http://museum.gaa.ie/
Hope this helps.
Immortal298 - Trying to find out more about trips around the factory and stuff, waiting to hear back from them as i sent an email asking about tours last week.
My friend stays just two minutes from the factory and says that they do trous but no more info than that.
I do know that it is a fair distance out of Dublin city centre though. According to the AA route planner, it would take about three quarters of an hour by car from the airport to travel the 34 miles.
