unfinished cathedrals
hmm didnt know what catergory to put this one in.
I have just come back from a great trip to Barcelona in Spain.. i visited the unfinished Cathedral Sangria Familia designed by Gaudi which is stunning .. it was started in around 1885 and they hope to finish in 2026 (anniversary of Gaudis Death..)
I was just wondering if there are any more "unfinished" Cathedrals in the world? are people still constructing these monumental buildings?
thanks for your help

St John the Divine (last time we were there, anyway) is a much easier space to visit (but a lot further than Spain, if you live in the UK) - and very lovely. The stained glass windows are beautiful and it has a great atmosphere.
