considering they can't even spell service, yes, I'd say it was a fake. Ignore it. On the other hand, lots of people are having problems with AB at the moment, as you'll have noticed. I hope they get sorted.
Did you look at the picture I posted? It insinuated that all my passwords and security had been, compromised. It wasn't just an advert trying to sell me, shoes etc.
G'afternoon chrissa.......The message you received was a definite scam which was designed to frighten you into telephoning the supposed support team who would then offer to 'clean-up' your equipment at an agreed cost. However, the real purpose would be to obtain your bank details, with a possible clearing-out of your account.
Ignore the 'pop-up' and rest in the knowledge that AB staff will be 'on-the-ball' tomorrow. Well that is if the Ed pays attention to all the complaints which have been submitted this weekend via his Blog section.
