Their drummer immediately tweeted back to thank me, and that’s not something you expect!
Anyway, I’ll join in with their recent single “Boom”, released just a couple of months ago. Couldn’t wish for a more earworm chorus.

A video with a back story! A couple of years ago my band did a Scout Jamboree gig at Tatton Park with Pegasus Bridge as headline – we were on immediately before, after 4 or 5 other bands. The drummer asked if he could use my bass amp as a monitor; in return I used their rather good bass rig.
Funniest thing was backstage. I really didn’t know anything about PB, so when I went to their van outside to share some tinnies and talk about, well, whatever, I thought nothing of it. Turned out they were pretty big at the time, lots of Radio 1 coverage and Reading/Glasto appearances. When the daughter of our keyboardist found out I’d been spending ‘quality time’ with them she was furious! I’d sort of causally done what every fangirl dreamt of.
They were really nice guys – just a shame that this was pretty much their final gig before they split. I remember watching them and seeing thousands of fans screaming at them to not split up.
Most hilarious thing was the end of the night when the kids were asking US for autographs.
