codes on TV

Bush 28in. Someone gave us the TV to use in the caravan, But all the channels are locked so cannot tune. can anyone help

Can I get this clear. You haven't any pictures on any of the channels and I take it that you don't have a manual either. You have obviously plugged in a proven aerial lead which you know is connected properly!! On the remote you will have buttons which will allow you to install programs so you need to give this a go first.

I have to say that I assumed that you had a remote that came with the TV and thus it should be coded for that TV so try bobis suggestions. I think you need to make it clearer exactly what you you do have and don't have in order to get a helpful answer.

Hi....we have a remote.. we can pick up one channel that happens to be ITV.....But the TV has been locked for install functions...we cannot tune BBC, Channel 4 or 5

If the channels are locked via a user-inputted code, you need to ask whoever had the TV before what their unlock codes are

That's the problem, nobody knows the code that was put in

Try 0000 or 1234. Sometimes these are override codes.

If not, do you know the model number, there will be an overide code somewhere. Try Googling override and the model number
