Is there a shortage of news today?
The BBC has devoted a lot of it's news coverage to the astounding revelation that it was foggy this morning and some flights had to be cancelled.
They had teams of reporters at airports interviewing passengers who were waiting for flights.
Fog in November ? Wow, that must have been a surprise!
Always makes me laugh when they are telling you not to make unnecessary car journeys when it is snowing and then they send reporters out. Like we don't know what snow looks like or need to see live footage!
My favourite was Christmas Day a few years ago.
I accept that that is often a slow news day (the odd execution of Romanian dictators aside) but one of the items on the BBC news was the startling revelation that a lot of people in Britain had been watching television during the day ...
This in itself was a news item - why are we surprised at fog in Nov and Wincey said - well we shouldnt be .....
and hey eddie - that car that crashed in the fog and killed the Dad
and didnt notice the kid in the back - I really thought they were gonna say - coz it was foggy-see ?
Congrats. to Pasta's daughter! Pass it on! News: I finally talked local chemist into selling me some antibiotic eye-drops for the conjunctivitis OH developed over a week ago and which (on chemist's advice) I have been uselessly treating with Camomile tea. Result!
