I'm not going to criticise him for not wearing a poppy (I've made my feelings quite clear about people who do that). For a start, he always wears one. You can't fault him on that.

The fault lies with the moron who a) thought it would be a good idea b) couldn't be bothered to find an appropriate picture in the library and c) - and this is the worst bit, Photoshopped the poppy onto the breast of his jacket rather than the lapel.

Either learn how to use photo editing software, or ask someone else to do it it on your behalf.

I have no problem with him not wearing a poppy - neither do I - but pretending he does is hypocritical.

It looks as though all 14-year-old computer whizzes are not alike: some can get into Talk Talk's database; others can't even photoshop a fake flower.
