For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.One I'd like to recomend to you, wich is a favorite of mine and I think should be grown more is EUCRYPHIA, the variety glutinosa grows to 15ft and has lovely rose-like flowers, it prefers full sun in a sheltered position and only requires prunning to remove any deadwood or damaged shoots.
If its a conifer you want, why not try something unusual like the Japanese umberella pine (sciadoptitys) its very slow growing and will take 50-60 years to reach 30ft or even more unusual, a conifer that was only discovered about 12 years ago in a deep Austrailian gorge and will soon be available in the UK, give it a google for sales info.
