Who use or used the catchphrase "Do you mind?"?

I seem to recall Frankie Howerd using that phrase quite a bit during his act, not sure if it is considered one of his catchphrases though.

Hi oap, Catchphrase from bbc radio show"Ray's a laugh (1949-1960) said by Kenneth Connor as "Sidney Mincing", appearing in a different situation each week, Mincing was a sort of unhelpful shop assistant, and was introduces for example by Ted Ray in a furniture store: "It looks like a contemptuous lamp standard with a weird looking shade." Mincing: "Do you mind! my name is Sidney Mincing and I happen to be the proprietor, of this, dish pans, frying pans and Peter Pans (As it's all on the Never-Never) emporium. What can I do for you. Hi oap ,we used this quite bit when I was growing up in London in the 50s & 60s when a girl said to a boy "do you mind" we replied "not if you make the bed afterwards" we thought we were real jack the lads coming out with that,couldn't tell you when it started though>
