Facebook Friend Request Poblems.

Hi I have a question.

About 2 days ago I sent a friend request to someone I know on facebook.
48 hours later theres been no activity, which is ok.
However when I look on my friend request sent list the friend request isn't there.
Also when I look on this persons profile, the "friend request" button is gone.
Have they ignored me or not logged on or something else?
I'm just curiouse to know.

It's possible to block someone and this stops them from sending Friend requests. That may well be what's happened here. Hard to say. When you say that there's been no activity do you mean that he genuinely hasn't logged on (hard to tell), or that he's not got around to accepting your request? If it's just the latter then he's most likely seen it and decided to block you.

I see that. But why would it not show up on the list friend requests I sent?

Once the block's been made I think it's likely that the friend request will be removed as it's no longer "live".

If you've been blocked, you won't be able to look on their profile, 'cos blocking someone makes you invisible to them on facebook.

I've just had a look on my facebook and this is what's prob happened:

When someone sends you a friend request, you have the option to "confirm" or "delete request".
Confirming will make you facebook friends.
Deleting gives you another option - you are given the option to "mark as spam" which, according to facebook:
"if you click mark as spam, this person will not be able to send you any more friend requests".

I can still see this persons profile. Maybe I was marked as spam then.Type Your Answer Here...

maybe they just deleted the request for some reason.

They deleted it and marked it as spam.
If you just delete the request, you can send another friend request.
However, if you also mark it as spam, then it prevents you from sending another friend request .... which is what has happened here ......
