Cin ?
Children In Need
Hopefully going to the pictures and a meal out.
I'll be watching a different TV channel.
does the money ever get there. I mean I watching in the bedroom one morning many moons ago and the poor KURDS and sorry can't remember the other element but walking miles./ It was Xmas and i donated on the phone and couldn't believe it when the donation came out in July the following year - cos I couldn't hell work out where and how the donation came about when I remembered i had donated the previous Xmas - dont get me wrong I still donate to various charities but I often wonder does the money ever get there. No, I won't be doing children in need cos like it is very sad and that but there are so many children here need help and not one of us know about it. They live in silence.
Oh, I thought it was spelt s i n
I stopped watching it years ago when the presenters became dismissive of small, local, groups who had held coffee mornings etc. all year to raise a few hundred pounds - but fawned over the large, corporate, donations.

I'll be ignoring it as always.
thank you for asking - not a lot.
Me neither. I'll watch a filum or summat.
Out to Pub,as normal on a Friday Night.
I'll be ignoring holier than thou tax-dodging millionaires whingeing on about the plight of others and eschewing whatever 'wacky', 'kooky', 'bonkersy' dross that newsreaders in pirate costumes or whatever try to convince us all that they're not just po-faced, overpaid automata who can read out loud.
It has Terry Wogan on it - so of course it will be seriously avoided.

I still loathe the pompous buffoon for claiming he 'didn't know' he was being paid for presenting CIN for years - but did not appear to donate his fees (£(9000-plus!) to the charity.
zip, nada, nothing.
Having an early night or tapping away on here!!! :-)

Just in case my outrage was not appreciated - " ... but did not appear to donate his fees (£(9000-plus!) to the charity."
