Badger Scarers

Do B&Q (or anybody else's) ultrasonic cat or fox scarers also work for badgers? My Aunty lives n the middle fo a town but is plagued by badgers continually tearing up her lawn and plants at night. Sje wouldn't want to hurt them, even if it was legal to do so, but she would like to persuade them to hold their nocturnal parties elsewhere. I know the scarers work for cats but no one seems to make one for badgers - but the B&Q one says "and other animals" on the box. The question is "which other animals?"
