Good. It's IQ + general knowledge and interest in things and people which matter. He was an IT person. In my simplistic understanding of the people I have come across in my life that usually means a very narrow range of interests and knowledge and I've met a lot of scientific types. Arts people are generally (broad meaning folks, please don't any individuals get upset) more wide-ranging.
I seem to remember having an IQ of somewhere around that, or a bit more, back in my 30's (probably been a huge dip since) but I can't say that I ever felt the need to join MENSA or mention it to people.
