Ipad Air And Scrabble

I am in middle of game but pressing the 'play' button has no effect.
Am unable to make any move because the 'waiting' button, bottom right corner, won't go away.
Is it me or is the iPad faulty - only 2 weeks old.
Help!!!

Hi jack (take me to Cuba........sorry).

I find scrabble freezes sometimes. It's not your iPad. Turn it off and back on. Usually works for me.

Mine freezes sometimes mine is the free app but I am told if you pay for it(as opposed to the free app) it should be ok

Gave up last night - CB also freezing.
Scrabble still a mess this morning - is it talktalk causing all the hassle?

The Builder explained to Caran how to clear too many apps open which causes the iPad to run slow or freeze.

For future reference, Caran, just double tap on the "Home" button. (That's the one on the front..... not on the screen.)

You'll see all the ones that are open. With one finger, just slide them up one at a time. They'll disappear off the top of the screen.

Hold down the power button and home button at the same time. Wait for the phone to reboot and then try to use your screen like you normally do.

If it doesn’t work the first time, try it again until it works. It can take three resets for the screen to start working again.

Apologies for delay in letting you know that my iPad is Ok again.
Just left it alone overnight and the 'waiting' button was gone.
Has happened again but, left alone, it clears.
Am convinced this is due to poor connection to internet and am happy again.
