No Headlights

Hello. My headlights on my 51 plate fiat punto died on me as i was driving on the M11 last night. luckily the full beams worked so i could drive myself to safety.(behind some unhappy motorist) I have checked the fuses and they are still intact. I was wondering if it could be a relay fault?

all other lights are working. MYSTERY???? Cheers

It does sound like a relay fault, especially as they both died together.
