temp net files

cant seem to delete temp net files via disk clean up even in safe mode , but i am confused when i tried it manually c> windows >temp> content ies> which then has 4 folders named with lots of numbers and letters but they appear empty -but the properties of content ies folder say 16kb in size- any info welcomed

16K is tiny. I think you'll find that it is just a hidden index file (which cannot be deleted). You should be able to see it for yourself if you go to folder options and choose to see hidden files.
